Chocolate Chip Brownie Brittle (Gluten Free)

Chocolate Chip Brownie Brittle (Gluten Free)

” Do we have any munchies?”

“Yup.”

“Can I have some?”

“Nope. There is a questionable ingredient listed on the pack.”

*Sigh*

This short conversation usually happens when my husband asks for a late night snack while we are watching a show or a movie; then he ends up eating pop corn (or nothing) and I get to munch any available snack.

Gluten free snacks aren’t available everywhere in Pakistan; only in big cities, at big grocery stores with limited variety and frankly most of the products are bland and crazy expensive. Few months ago my son brought a pack of gf brownie brittle from abroad which was thoroughly savored and miserly eaten by my husband to stretch the sweet life of that one single pack! It was my *sigh* moment as I started to look for something similar. I found this recipe, with perfect balance of chewiness and crunch with simple ingredients and got two thumbs up… one from each gluten free family members of the house.
