Wednesday Wisdom : When a Doctor Cooks (Off Topic)
Due to some internet issues I couldn’t click “publish” earlier today.
I love those days when someone volunteers to cook. My husband has pretty good cooking skills which he does not get to show off much. Professional hazard! But when he does, it is a treat. I mean from searching a recipe that interests him, getting each and every ingredient (even if it is optional), reading and analyzing all the steps, special attention to details and following instructions religiously. He hangs print outs all over the kitchen (which sometimes stay there for a while!).
He asks us what time we want dinner so he can manage time properly and when food is ready he goes, “Heen! (yes he has a nickname for my nickname) it’s ready please plate it.”
This weekend he made this Island Chicken and left the recipe on the counter. I had a good laugh when I read TBSF (tablespoon full) instead of a mere tbsp exactly how they write a prescription 🙂
